Program overview

Our Advance program enables high school students to explore STEM-related college and career options, cultivate excitement about STEM, and build leadership and communication skills.

In the Fall, we host a College Readiness Series aimed at building participants’ confidence in the college application process and their understanding of educational / career opportunities in STEM.

Past events included panel discussions with undergraduate and graduate STEM students, informational sessions with UM admissions counselors, and activities to reflect on social identities.
