F.E.M.M.E.S. Advance is a one-day capstone program at the University of Michigan similar to our original program for 4th-6th grade students, but transformed for high school students! Participants will explore STEM through activities designed to actively engage students with material in a new way. In order to better meet the current needs of high school students, F.E.M.M.E.S. Advance includes activities that will promote the development of leadership and communication skills. F.E.M.M.E.S. Advance also includes college preparation activities like a college panel in which participants can have their questions about college answered by current undergraduate and graduate students in STEM. We are excited to provide resources to participants including tips for the SAT/ACT and a list of opportunities they can pursue while in high school. Our free event will start with a Keynote Speaker that will talk about their path and current career in STEM. Feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions and register through here!
